A Greensboro orthopedic surgeon is turning to a spinal implant device that utilizes nanotechnology in surgeries for back pain.
Dahari Brooks of Greensboro Orthopaedics is using nanoLOCK, the first FDA-approved fusion device to feature nanotechnology. The device was developed by Titan Spine LLC, a medical device manufacturer-based in Wisconsin, and is used for spinal fusion surgeries.

Catawba Brewing Co. has signed a deal for an additional 4,300 square feet in Charlotte’s Belmont neighborhood — less than a month after opening its doors.
